Training the clients starts from the first hours of their admission to the institution. They learn to respect their colleagues and to be clean, disciplined, organized and responsible and task-oriented. They learn to be committed to religious and moral values and to be honest. After the counseling session and having their abilities evaluated, they are introduced to the training workshops, so that they will learn the skills required for an independent business or a sustainable employment, after completing the various courses of practical training, provided in the program of the institution. The professional training courses of the institution include sewing, knitting, handicrafts, drying vegetables, bakery, making pickles and jam, office work and accounting assistance, warehousing, computer use and salesmanship. All classes are run by volunteers, and products of practical training are sold at the permanent exhibition and the store.
Revenue from sales is spent on part of the costs and subsidy to the clients so that they can learn different skills, with ease of mind. Assigning some of the executive tasks of workshops and stores to the clients, has led them to work with more motivation and interest in carrying out the programs. Participating in production of the goods and the feeling of capability and usefulness to themselves and others will boost the clients' self-esteem and cultivates the talents hidden in the dust of poverty and humiliation.
Mischief, jealousy and hatred will be replaced by affection and reconciliation with oneself and others. Rehabilitation, self-sufficiency and gaining self-esteem, are the steps in which they can come out of the supporting and educating cover of the institution, and live a healthy and dynamic life, independently.
In addition to skills-training provided in the form of a business model corresponding with the capabilities of the clients, and designed to provide their livelihoods, curricula are also organized and conducted by volunteers at different levels of education. Considering the fact that the promotion of clients' living conditions is directly related to their educational and cultural development, special attention is dedicated to providing the appropriate facilities and conditions for the education of clients' children.
Running literacy and ethical values classes, teaching life skills, hygiene, English as a foreign language, swimming, recreational and training camps, and establishing a library are among other activities of the training department.
